A member asked:

I had a sticky, clear-ish penile discharge after a bowel movement. no scent, and was not painful. in the previous month, i had pain in my lower abdomen, especially when urinating or having bowel movements. is this normal? prostatitis or other?

It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. If your symptoms persist, it would be prudent to see a doctor. Wish you good health!

This is common in some men and can occur from time to time in any sexually mature male. It's semen or other genital fluids being expressed by the pressure of defecation, and of stool passing prostate gland and seminal vesicles. If you don't have discharge at other times, probably nothing is wrong. Probably unrelated to your abdominal pain etc. See a doctor if symptoms continue or still concerned.
