Had a urinalysis done. the results were in the standard range/negative/rare except urine bacteria value, it read value: occ. what does that mean? i have no symptoms of a uti so im curious is this is just a contaminated sample or what it means?

You do not have symptoms, then no need to worry. It is probably contaminant from the surface and it is possible that it is Occasional bacteria.

All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, your results are not a cause for concern. Wish you good health!
