I have a hard time swallowing pills randomly. is it okay to break open clindamycin 300 mg capsules and take them that way? not much on the internet and its to late to call the pharmacist?

No it’s not ok. Talk to your prescriber about providing a liquid solution.

Since you think you can swallow pills or capsules if smaller, than get doses half the size and try to swallow them. Never break open a capsule, you will lose some of its contents. You can cut a pill in half and swallow one at a time.
