Uncertain: With antibiotics you can be susceptible to yeast infections, or it could be a herpetic lesion in the esophagus but this also depends on why you are taking clindamycin. Your physician can help to clarify.

Just took a clindamycin capsule. It took me a few try to get it down so it was already soft. I finally was able to swallow it I started to cough. Im not sure if the pill or some of my drink went down my windpipe. Would I have choked if it was pill?
