Low chance but not zero. Wet mount examination misses at least half of all trichomonas infections; and as you may know, trich and BV symptoms and discharge are almost identical to one another. Absence of WBC suggests trich is absent and so does your partners negative RNA test. But you also need an RNA (or DNA) test to be 100% certain.
