Infant nasal saline drops and gentle suction are recommended and often is effective in reducing the cough due to post nasal drip. Monitor temperature and breathing. Watch for signs of prolonged cough, fever and poor feeding. Keep all vaccinations updated. Test for Flu, RSV and COVID-19 if indicated after assessment. A virtual consultation is available.
