Call dentist in AM: The er is not set up to perform dentistry. You can go to the er, and they will prescribe antibiotics for you, if they deem you are indeed infected. But it is imperative that you receive dental care tomorrow. This will not go away on its own or with medication. All the best..

Tooth pain: You most likely need a antibiotic as soon as possible. Please contact you dentist as soon as possible to arrange a emergency appointment. A radiograph will be taken and it will be decided if it is tooth or gum related. Possible root canal or extraction may be needed.

See your Dentists: If you have a cavity that is deep and into the nerve, the pain can be unbearable. See your dentist who will remove the decay and either restore the tooth, or perform a root canal treatment and get you out of your misery. There is no medication that will take the placed of the correct treatment which in this case can only be performed by your dentist or a root canal specialist.

Bad tooth: Treatment, not pain pills, are the remedy for painful, abscessed teeth. Depending on your wishes, the tooth should have a root canal or be extracted. Get help quickly before the abscess becomes "systemic" (ie puts you in the hospital).

See DDS: see an oral surgeon for treatment if the tooth is salvageable, an endodontist may be able to save the tooth.
