Had stroke from 1.4cm blood clot in the limbic system. how long will it take for the clot to dissolve on its own?

Blood clots inside the body usually resolve in a matter of a few days. Our blood is equiped with certain enzymes/proteins which have the ability to dissolve blood clots such that these will not be visible after 1-5 days but it all depends on the size of the blood clot.

A small area of bleeding within the brain will gradually change in appearance steadily over several days to about two weeks, depending upon stability and lack of additional bleeding.
