It sounds like a neuropathy that may originate at the neck level or anywhere along the upper extremities nerves. Would start by checking pillow/ mattress, neck position during the night. If symptoms persist see your doc for an exam.

If you don't experience this during daytime a tivutues, it is probably not the classic carpal tunnell syndrome. This is positional nerve impingement, probably by wrist ligaments pressing on nerves entering your hand, fingers and lower arms during sleep posture of hands & arms.. See your MD or a hand specialist as needed.

It may be due to compression of nerves if you fold your arms at the elbow when sleeping. Try to keep your arms straight when you go to sleep. If that does not help, it would be prudent to see a doctor. Get HPV vaccine. Wish you good health!

This is normal if you put your hands under the pillow, or under your chest. The compression on your hands cuts off the normal blood supply, leaving a tingling sensation. Try to cushion your hand with a foam or rubber backing or glove.
