A member asked:

My daughter 14 has chest pain and dizziness when standing even when hydrated shes sleeping more and complains if palpitations and cold ankles and feet what should i do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

I think a cardiologist is best to investigate her symptoms and to check for POTS ( postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome). This seems to be more common in females starting in teenage years in some cases. Some patients may only have simple postural hypotension & not true POTS but her palpitations are suspicious.
