Olumiant (baricitinib) is a Janus Kinase inhibitor that treats severe alopecea areata. Avate cream is a steroid cream (methylprednisolone). If the cream is too thick and tugs at your hair more than you want, assk your doctor for a similar steroid medication that is available as an ointment -- this may be more effective if you have dry skin.
