If a doctor tells me i have a normal lymph node does this mean the lymph node is benign or does it mean the lymph node is normal and not enlarged? my node is 1/2 an inch and hasnt changed in 2 years. i told that to the doctor?

Lymph node is normal and should be smooth to touch. If enlarged it would be rubbery to touch and possibly cancerous with a positive biopsy. Benign means non cancerous and normal.
