My wife takes vraylar for bi polar. does antipsychotic medicines like this one affect menstrual cycle. she is 15 days late and has had a tubal ligation and negative pregnancy test. any information would be helpful?

Antipsychotic medications can increase Prolactin levels causing an alteration in the menstrual cycle in some women. She has a tubal location and a negative pregnancy test there is no concern for pregnancy. She can monitor her cycles over the next few months and discuss with an Obgyn if this becomes a cause for concern for her.
