This should be discussed with your doctor. It might be a good idea to have a chest X-ray to check for complications like pneumonia or lung abscess. Good luck.

Unilateral tonsillitis. negative for strep, and DR says no PTA. Intermittent foul taste. Now blood in throat mucus. 3 days steroids/Tylenol no help.
Symptoms: Cough, Runny Nose, Sore Throat, Green Mucus, Holes in tonsils, Vomitting. What could this be? My boyfriend believes they are tonsil stones, but he hasn't had the symptoms and he doesn't want to go to the doctor. I believe it's tonsillitis.
