Hormonal changes can explain the vasodilation causing only transient flushing of the body, but I don't think they would cause bilateral arm pain. This discomfort may have more to do with positioning or strain type effects on your arms for rather prolonged periods. Your gynecologist can address the hormonal changes and their effects.
