I took an ovulation test on 9/19 that came back positive. my period is late and i am getting negative pregnancy tests. my luteal cycle has always been 13-14 days after ovulation. i am now at 16 days past ovulation. what could cause this delay?

HPT's are accurate about a week after a missed period. From the information provided it doesn't appear that time has passed. Try again a week after your expected date for a more accurate result.
