I hope you don't smoke. A rbc up to 5.65 is normal in our lab. Were your Hgb,Hct, wbc and platelet counts within normal limits? If, yes, no worries.

Isolated lab values cannot be interpreted out of context and/or dynamics. Your RBC value appears to be at the higher limit of normal for most labs. Your ordering doc remains your best resource to place it in proper context.

All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, your RBC is not a cause for concern. Wish you good health!
