A member asked:

For 2.5 hours: very hot for no apparent reason, tired, nauseous (stomach acid but no vomit yet), burning stomach pain, headache in front and around ears. right upper stomach fluttering briefly. possible causes? possible treatment?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

I consider these varied symptoms nondiagnostic at this time. An early viral gastrointestinal tract infection is a possibility. If so, diarrhea may follow. At this time I recommend taking in fluids including room temperature flat ginger ale, eating soft, bland foods, starting with saltine crackers. Take tylenol, prilosec or pepcid to shut off stomach acid. If not gradually improved, call or see MD
