For 3 mths at night time having sever pain follow by bulging on the lower r.side stomach endoscopy showed ulcer & ultrasound showed diverticula.the gastro dr doesn't know the cause. can you please tell me what's the cause? thx?

The ulcer may be in a different place than the diverticula but you did not say; the ulcer is due to something causing a break in the integrity of the epithelia linning and it could be due to an infection like Helicobacter pylorii or due to abnormality of chemicals like increased acidity. The diverticula is due to weakness in the muscles of the guts that allows a blow out like a balloon in the wall
