A member asked:

I have a posterior disc protrusion pushing on ventral cord. causing a lot of pain from my neck to my hand and numbness. what can they do to fix this?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

If the "disc protrusion" is truly contacting the spinal cord, and causing clinically discernable signs, such as leg weakness/ spasticity, urinary problems, and hand weakness/ numbness; would strongly consider surgical intervention. See a neurosurgeon. If there is a stable clinical situation, you can do physical therapy with motorized cervical traction and await disc desiccation and shrinkage
