My 17 year old son feels the hyoid bone clicking, he says it's as if this bone is catching on to something when he turns his neck; and when swallowing, he feels the laryngeal prominence "scrape" on the hyoid bone. and in the ct we did, nothing appear?

In addition to that CT scan, for peace of mind & reassurance, have him examined by an ENT specialist so he won't obsess about this.
