Can i use mouthwash while using metronidazole vaginal gel? i used mouthwash after using the medicine and now im worried because i was told i cant use any form of alcohol or i will get sick?

You will be fine. Use as much mouthwash as you desire. First of all, the disulfiram reaction, or negative reaction caused by alcohol in those taking metronidazole does not apply to the vaginal gel.

Use a non alcohol mouthwash or a combination of hydrogen peroxide and water if so concerned. There is a insigniificant amount of alcohol in the mouthwash to cause any problems.
