Consider monistat: Vaginal itching and cottage cheese like discharge are more than likely caused by yeast infection. Over the counter medications, like monistat are ok to be used to try to treat this. 3 or 7days work much better than the 1 day version. If no improvement of symptoms after monistic, make an appt with a doctor
