It is not likely to be the only symptom. Application of a calamine antihistamine lotion is often effective. If the rash spreads or is associated with breathing difficulty, shortness of breath, wheezing, runny nose, please see your physician right away. These are some of the signs of an allergic reaction. Monitor temperature and breathing.
