Someone i'm close to has tested positive for covid. i haven't seen them for about 10 days. i'm diabetic and hypertensive and in the past week or so have had a rash on my arms and in the tops of my feet. also itchy and sensitive eyes. ?

COVID 19 concerns: Suspicion for COVID 19 is higher if you have at least 2 of these symptoms: temp of at least 99.6 F (37.5 C), Cough, Shortness of breath, Chills, Shivering, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat or new loss of taste or smell. Allergic reaction: I recommend calling your attending physician ¬ify him/her of these symptoms. They are not characteristics of Covid but are typical of an allergic reaction, possibly to one of your medications. In the meantime take an antihistamine but do not stop any of your prescribed medications until you discuss the situation with your physician as soon as possible.
