Wait 4-5 days and get your mother a PCR test for COVID-19. Although "fully vaccinated" may not prevent mild symptoms of COVID, at your mother's age "92", boosters are recommended, especially the recent Omicron variant which protects against B.2 and B.5 better than the original COVID-19 preparations.
