What can cause my urine to smell fishy? i have recently started taking turmeric, can this be the cause?

Yes, turmeric can cause a strong scented urine. Best to check since other causes cannot be ruled out would be to stop taking turmeric for few days and see if urine comes back to its baseline properties.
