Did you dilute the dettol as instructed? If not, you may have chemically burned those sensitive tissues. You may have been suffering from jock itch, and at this point you may have exacerbated the situation by incorrectly using a product that probably should not have been used.

Never apply anything with alcohol to any genital area. clean area gently with mild soap and water and apply cortisporin cream till healed. Take Ibuprofen for pain If it is a large area pl see your MD right away. Remember do not treat yourself or listen to non docs advice regarding medical treatment. Hope you feel better
