It is possible and there are a wide range of symptoms associated, including nausea and chest discomfort. Please see urgent care for an evaluation if your PCP is not available. Watch for worsening pain and shortness of breath. Other conditions include GERD and muscle strain. If the pain improves with applied local heat, the chest pain may be related to musculoskeletal pain.
