Follow up to i broke my leg when i was 11 and had titanium rod put in my leg i am now 20. - i have a great amount of pain from knee to hip is this normal? - can you keep a titanium rod in your leg permanently? - can you have the rod removed?

The leg growth should be considered and evaluated by Orthopedics.A follow up imaging study is recommended. Please follow up soon, and watch for pain with weight bearing and swelling.
