For the past 3 weeks my right eye has been extremely watery, red and sensitive to light. some pain below eye in cheek area and just above eye brow area on right side also. otc eye drops not helpful. could this be sinus causing this?

No, sinus problem should not cause those eye symptoms. Please see an ophthalmologist as soon as possible. Do not use the OTC drops any more. Take care!

Yes, get seen by an ophthalmologist as soon as possible as this could be a vision threatening problem. If you wear contact lenses, stop until you are seen. Pain, tearing and light sensitivity could be caused by many conditions, none good. Possible diagnoses include corneal ulcer, iritis, scleritis, angle closure glaucoma, etc etc.
