This area is prone to be affected by Herpes infections which can present with a small ulcer. Usually these ulcers are painful but they tend to resolve in 1-2 weeks...but may recur on and off. You may want to show it to your gynecologist for confirmation. As for your question on having sex, it is ok provided your partner is wearing protection and also you do not experience pain during the intercour
