How close? Coracoid process is on top of the shoulder, brachial artery is in the armpit. There is no large artery in the immediate vicinity of the this bony process.

There is an artery close to everything. But I would Google blood supply to the carociod process (make sure you have correct spelling) and look at images and see then you can discuss with your Dr.
