See derm/hair specia: See a dermatologits who speciliazed in hair problems. Need to check few other things that can also contribute to your hair condition. You can try rogaine, (minoxidil) or other medication perhaps before going to hair transplant. But discuss pros and cons with your dermatologist. It is safe but you have to be selective in choosing the doctor and result may not as good as you may expect. Good luck.

Need examination: I am sorry, but you will probably need a full examination before determining if you are a good candidate for hair transplantation.

Surgery should be sa: For all practical purposes your health is good for any surgery. Just get a routine check up to make sure that your health is otherwise fit for surgery. Testicular cancer is cured by now yet you should get a chest x-ray and blood work up to get a clearance for surgery. Of course you need to know that hair transplant surgery for baldness is still some what controversial in terms of its cost effectiv.
