A member asked:

Would 10-20 heart palpitations (like a skipped heart beat or a flutter) of one or two beats max be considered very frequent?

You should not use the term flutter when you imply the ectopic heart beats because atrial flutter is a serious cardiac arrhythmia. One or 2 ectopic beats out of 20 beats are not considered very frequent. Furthermore, you should know the type of ectopic beats, either premature atrial contraction (PAC) or premature ventricular contraction (PVC). PVC is more clinically significant.
