Not related: The actual c-section and your dental problems should not be related. It is very possible you have an infection or a fractured tooth. You need to see a dentist asap to determine the cause of your swelling and be treated. And congrats on your new baby !

What you need now:: Congratulations. Now it's time for a complete and thorough dental checkup along with x-rays. It's important for two reasons. First, your specific symptoms suggest an infection which can lead to serious complications if untreated, and secondly, most pregnant women forgo routine checkups and care while pregnant. You are probably way overdo for that.
