I have hashimotos- but no hypo/hyperthyroid. am not on any medications. i was told by my gi that i have a small hiatal hida. i am scheduled to take a hida scan. is it ok for me to have a hida scan if i have hashimotos?

Ask your Drs and your HIDA scanners. They will know in folks like you. Different ethnic groups respond to meds differently. Are you of European, Japanese, Hawaiian, Chinese or African descent? Discuss with team there who have seen you and know this info. We do not.
