Started taking omeprazole 20mg for 2 days then the next 3 days 40mg (prescribed), is it normal for symptoms to get worse? i have bad indigestion after eating simple things like a banana. can excedrin or nurtec trigger? i've been watching what i eat?

Body is talking to you. Listen and take good notes. Then share with your Drs. You all will figure it out. If the cause for your symptoms are not due to problems that omeprazole helps then it will not help. I would elevate the head of your bed feet 4-8 inches if it is thought you have GERD. Gravity never sleeps. And it may help immediately the first night.
