Evaluation: There are many reasons for leg pain that may or may not be related to diabetes: blood clot, infection, bone/muscle problems. A common cause of pain in diabetes is neuropathy. However, all of these should be evaluated and examined to find out the exact cause. The treatment will depend on this cause.

Leg pain: Diabetes can result in painful neuropathy over time. While this can cause leg pain, i would recommend evaluation by your primary care physician as many other things can cause leg pain as well.
