Its hard without a photo but i ate this morning & realized right where my lips sit together more towards into my mouth it was looking a little red in a small area. it doesnt hurt & i dont see any blisters. it feels raw, could it just be irritated?

I assume there has been no trauma. At this time it appears to be only irritation. Rinse mouth out with warm salt water intermittently & observe for appearance of a canker sore or cold sore. See your MD as needed.
