That etiology of this pain is vast. Pain location, its associated symptoms and your underlying medical history are important. Pain can be from stomach (gastritis, ulcer, etc.), gallbladder (gallstone) or bowel (intestinal angina due to vascular insufficiency). Your primary doctor is your best bet because he knows your history and a physical exam is required.
