I have neck pain. my last episode with the neck pain was about a month ago .i had to go on a steroid to get rid of it. now it came back again. could anyone shed some light as why possibly i'm getting this neck pain. it's annoying & uncomfortable?

In absence of trauma and acute injury, most Neck Pain at this age is mostly Postural, from Strain - usually when Sleeping , Taking a Nap or watching TV. If Home Health Care is available, let them come and asses the possible causes. A visit to the PCP is a good start to rule out Pinched nerve, arthritis and other causes of the neck pain.
