Hello. tested positive for covid on saturday, and had a appointment with my nurse practitioner. she prescribed me paxlovid and zpak. i do not have any high risk disease or anything. i am coughing, very sore throat, stuffy nose. should i take or wait?

I think it’s a good idea to take the paxlovid because it has a 5 day window when it’s most effective. I am not sure why you need the z-pak , as it has no effect on the covid virus and therefore wait till you see your NP before starting it.
