The most common cause for bleeding while on oral bcp"s is not taking the active pills within the hour of the previous day's active pill, leading to withdrawal bleeding. If the bleeding continues, stop the pack you are on now, wait five days and begin a new pack and stay punctual when taking the active pill. To be sure about possible pregnancy, obtain a serum HCG test.
