I am an 18 y/o male 6ft 139lb. i took 4mg melatonin. after consumption i read that melatonin raises prolactin levels. how long / how much will my prl be raised for? prl is linked to hairloss / gyno & other bad effects. am i now at any risk for these?

In UPTODATE, melatonin is not listed as a drug which can cause hyperprolactinemia (high prolactin level in the serum). If it does, the effect should resolve after stopping the offending agent, just like other drugs. If you are concerned, just stop it and you will be fine.

Not likely. Prolactin has to be up for long time in men to cause issues. But may go up during maturation. I would go to Wikipedia and read about prolactin and maturation in your men.
