Baby's wets can be hard to monitor if you use commercial diapers designed to soak up pee immediately. We weigh diapers to see if they wet in the nursery. A square of toilet tissue placed to catch pee can detect small voids. An infant needs to pee at least every 6-8 hours or they may be drying out.
