When can i drink coffee after a tooth extraction?

Wait at least 48-72 hours to drink coffee. Drinking coffee before that can dislodge the blood clot and cause a dry socket and lead to pain and a bacterial buildup in extraction site.

Depends on extent of the surgery and the post-treatment instructions given to you by the only person who knows your history and surgical experience, your treating Dentist or Oral Surgical specialist. That's who you should be asking. In order to reduce chance of clot wash out resulting in dry socket, be judicious.
