You will do what you will do. Sitting on a cold compress can dull hemorrhoid pain and application of preparation H or hydrocortizone can help in the long run.

Agree with Dr. Ferguson. Refrain from using weed. Marijuana is a psychoactive drug and will mess with your brain. MJ users are called stoners for good reason. Quit using it while you are ahead. You may use acetaminophen for pain, no more than 3-4 g/day, no alcohol. Wish you good health!

Smoking weed is not recommended except in few instances such as chronic pain of untreatable conditions e.g. terminal cancer/ Try sitz baths and local hemorrhoid pain ointments and Ibuprofen
