A doctor has provided 1 answer

Hair loss 40 y.o. F: Esr is a measure of inflammation and can be elevated by many different things. Tsh 2.4 is within normal limits. Hashimoto's thyroiditis is an autoimmune condition that has antibodies that we can test for. Any rapidly progressing hair loss should be evaluated by a dermatologist. A number of things can cause this-hormones, thyroid, iron, medications, inflammatory conditions of the body, etc.
