A member asked:

How is it possible that many people having heat exhaustion have normal body temperature? isn't the cause of this illness being unable to cool down?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Heavy sweating keeps temperature down, but as time goes on with heat exhaustion it rises and leads to heat stroke when body temperature reaches 104 degrees. If you dress heavy, drink alcohol, are obese, and are on certain medications, you won't be able to cool down.
